It supports playback for PCM files up to 32-bit / 768 kHz and DSD decoding up to quad DSD (DSD256). It also provides a significant upgrade from the anemic headphone section built into many conventional amplifiers and lets you add headphone capability to amps and other gear that lack a headphone jack. With five digital filters available onboard (including the proprietary Optimum transient digital filter), the sound of the Head Box S2 Digital can be shaped precisely to your liking. Three digital inputs ensure a connection to any source available, be it a personal computer via the USB B input or a TV set via the optical input.
